[!] SUPERVISING GUIDE [!] - Sircles - 07-29-2016 If you are reading this thread, then you are likely to be a new Training Supervisor. The role of a Training Supervisor is to teach and act as a mentor to new Trainers. This thread will educate you on how to be a good supervisor. A great supervisor will teach everything that is within this thread and will also use this thread for future reference. The Basics of Supervising: 1 - You must ensure your Trainer is wearing the Trainers Badge and is also wearing 'smart' clothes. 2 - Trainer Students are not allowed to Train. They must watch you or another trainer train once before they can reach the next rank. 3 - During the Training session, you must take accurate notes on two key areas of their training. These are: > How to Train. > Communication with Recruits. 4 - You must ALWAYS log the performance of your Trainer in the Supervisors Log. The Two Areas of Focus: Training Fundamentals > Take a not of the Trainers Student ability to use the Training Script. > Take a note of the Trainers grammatical ability while training. > Take a note of the Trainers pacing ability. > Take a note of the Trainers awareness of the recruit and all that is going on during training. > Take a note of the Trainers ability to add a bit of personal flair to their training session. > Take a note on whether the Trainer is always talking in bold. Communication With The Recruit > Take a note of the manner in which the Trainer approaches and delays recruits in FTB. > Take a note of the Trainers ability to control and deflect the behaviour of abusive recruits. > Take a note of the Trainers ability to train more than one recruit simultaneously. REMEMBER: Always remind your trainer to log their training sessions. If you are a Supervisor and are in need of assistance, the Training High Rank Team are here to help! |
